Kelly Thompson

Development Director

Kelly is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born and raised in Zionsville, a north suburb of Indy, where she graduated from Zionsville Community High School in 2007. After graduation, Kelly continued her education at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. There, she obtained her bachelor’s of science in recreation therapy in 2011. While in college, Kelly found her passion for volunteering with children through the YMCA Adapted Athletics program and equine-assisted therapy programs.

After graduation, Kelly moved into the senior living field, working as an activities assistant and then moving into a director of community relations role. She also has held similar roles as a sports program manager and social media and marketing coordinator for a senior living company.

In 2015, Kelly left the corporate world to pursue her passions for her faith and volunteering. She traveled for one year to 11 countries on three continents, volunteering with local organizations and growing her relationship with the Lord. It was truly an experience to remember.

Kelly is a marketing guru with a strong eye for brand awareness and social media presence. Her immense passion for children and volunteering makes her a unique fit to CVHN.

Kelly loves anything with kids, dogs, yoga and the TV show Friends. Kelly lives with her boyfriend, Matt, and their six year old golden lab, Lyla, in Panama City Beach.
