The Children’s Volunteer Health Network announces new Executive Director

Children’s Volunteer Health Network, a local nonprofit organization devoted to providing Okaloosa and Walton County children access to free healthcare services, is thrilled to announce Brian Lowe as the new Executive Director.

Lowe, who comes to the Emerald Coast from Boone, North Carolina, has served as the Executive Director of Hope Pregnancy Center for 13 years. There, he overhauled the organization to better serve clients, launching a successful rebranding campaign that allowed the center to grow and expand a variety of programs.

The summer heat is no match for the SoWal Craft Beer and Spirits Festival benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network.  Cooled tents will set the stage for the outdoors event, with tables that include more than 60 craft beers, ciders, Florida distilled craft spirits, and rosé wine and mimosas.

7th Annual 30A Wine Festival in Alys Beach


Calling all Volunteers!

The seventh annual 30A Wine Festival returns to the beautiful community of Alys Beach Thursday, February 22 through Sunday, February 25, 2018. Showcasing renowned vintners and culinary favorites, the four-day celebration will benefit Children’s Volunteer Health Network. The festival kicks with a special wine dinner featuring a four-course meal prepared by Alys Beach Executive Chef Drew Dzejak.  Friday night features “Bourbon, Beer & Butts”, a lively barbecue and bourbon tasting featuring some of the country’s best pitmasters and distillers with live music..
